Today we are dedicating the 32nd anniversary of the Independence of the Kyrgyz Republic and the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Turkey, and we invite you to the exhibition of Kyrgyz artists, which we organize as an Embassy.
Today's event marks the beginning of a series of events that will be held in honor of important dates. In the coming months, it is planned to hold Days of Culture of Kyrgyzstan.
"Today's independence is a legacy left to us by our ancestors"
I cordially congratulate you on the 32nd anniversary of the Independence of the Kyrgyz Republic. It is clear that the 32nd anniversary of independence is a short time for a sovereign state. But, as everyone knows, our people and our country have more than 2,300 years of history.
Our ancestors have come a long way in history to achieve independence. Therefore, today's independence is a legacy left to us by our ancestors, and it is our duty to pass it on to future generations. For 32 years, Kyrgyzstan has passed severe trials in the development of the state, but has preserved its independence, which is the most important asset of our people.
Today Kyrgyzstan is an independent, secular, democratic state governed by the rule of law and is taking firm steps towards development and growth, steadily increasing its well-being. Since the first days of its independence, Kyrgyzstan has been considered a democratic country in the region and is known as the "island of democracy in Central Asia".
I sincerely congratulate you on the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Turkey. Since its establishment in 1923, the Republic of Turkey has been taking confident steps to build a great and powerful state, strengthen its positions in the region and in the international arena, and is undoubtedly on the path of development.
"Turkey became the first country to recognize the independence of Kyrgyzstan"
For us, Turkey is a fraternal state, a reliable friend, a strategic partner that defies time. As you know, we; our language, our history, our religion, our culture, our roots are united. Kyrgyzstan attaches great importance to relations with Turkey. Turkey became the first country to recognize the independence of Kyrgyzstan. For 32 years we have always felt the support of fraternal Turkey, shared our joy, supported each other in difficult times.
I am convinced that through joint efforts the strategic and fraternal relations between our countries will continue to develop successfully. May Kyrgyz-Turkish cooperation continue to strengthen and be eternal.
Today in history, October 13 is also the day when Ankara was declared the capital. On this occasion, I heartily congratulate you on the 100th anniversary of the announcement of Ankara as the capital of Turkey.
I wish our fraternal states to have peace, development and a bright future, and our peoples to be healthy, happy and prosperous. I hope that our fraternal and friendly relations between our countries will continue to develop. May our sky always be clear and bright!
We would like to thank the National Library under the President of the Republic of Turkey and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for their help and support in organizing and at every stage of this exhibition.
Kyrgyzstan is rich not only in unique nature and beautiful places, but also in talented people. Our young artist friends were educated in Kyrgyzstan and are now developing their creative abilities in fraternal Turkey and demonstrating their art in their new works. Therefore, the paintings in this hall mainly reflect Turkey through Kyrgyz painting. In this sense, our exhibition is symbolic. Because today we are witnessing the fusion of love and brotherhood, common history and culture, art and talent.
We organized our exhibition in order to introduce residents and guests of Ankara to Kyrgyz painting, especially in order to introduce them to art lovers. Culture and art are a phenomenon that brings countries and peoples closer together, erases differences and borders, beautifies the world, relieves suffering. Today, on Art Day, 40 precious works created by my esteemed fellow artists with their magic brushes are on display, reflecting the common history and culture, nature and beautiful places of both Kyrgyzstan and Turkey.
I would like to express my gratitude to our esteemed MP Sabri Ozturk, who always supports our work in Turkey.
I am sure that at this exhibition you will be able to see the magnificent Turkey through the prism of the creativity of our artists, and our Kyrgyzstan will get to know even better.
Pablo Picasso says: "Art washes the dust of everyday life from the soul."
Therefore, I believe that all of you will leave our exhibition today with new energy and inspiration.
With these feelings, I once again greet each of you. I want to thank all of you for participating.
The program ended after the photo shoot.
