"What is happening in Gaza has exceeded the limits of tolerance"

"What is happening in Gaza has exceeded the limits of tolerance"

In his speech at the General Assembly of the Foundation for the Dissemination of Knowledge, President Erdogan said: "What happened in Gaza, especially after October 7, has now exceeded the limits of tolerance. Israel, a terrorist State, is pursuing a policy of genocide against our Palestinian brothers and sisters with unlimited military and diplomatic support from Western Powers."

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan took part in the General Assembly of the Foundation for the Dissemination of Science, held in the conference hall of the University of Halic, and made a speech.

President Erdogan took part in the celebration of the 53rd anniversary of the Foundation for the Dissemination of Knowledge. In his speech at the regular General Assembly, he welcomed the participants and wished the General Assembly well.

Stating that the Foundation for the Dissemination of Knowledge is Turkey's oldest, most deeply rooted volunteer foundation with strong traditions, President Erdogan said that the foundation continues to surround travelers with science and wisdom like a great sycamore tree, whose roots go deep into the country.

Noting that the foundation has been selflessly working for more than half a century to educate young people with prophetic morality, guided by the advice of the Prophet that "the rank of knowledge is the highest of the ranks," President Erdogan said: "I would like to express my gratitude to all the members of the foundation who have managed, worked, labored and suffered for this cause since 1973 in order to promote the dissemination of knowledge in the country, as indicated in the founding document."

Stressing that he once again honored the memory of the foundation's people who passed away into eternity, President Erdogan continued: "I would like to pay special thanks to the memory of our dear companion and friend, the former mayor of Beykoz and one of the veterans of our foundation, the late Yudzhel Celikbilek, who died about 4 years ago. May Allah bless their souls and bless them with Paradise and Jamal. With the permission of Allah, as long as this furnace continues to smoke, the books of the exploits of veterans of our foundation will not be closed. We will never forget the good soldiers who work hard, realizing that "the best of you is the one who is most useful to people.

" "WE WILL ALWAYS BE WITH YOU"

Stating that they will repay their debt of gratitude to these wonderful people by moving the foundation much further, President Erdogan said: "We will reach more young people people. We will hold hands with more knowledge lovers. We will support more students. Starting from secondary education, we will be with our children in need. By encouraging qualified scientific research, we will enrich our treasure trove of knowledge."

President Erdogan celebrated the 53rd anniversary of the foundation. He expressed confidence that the next General Assembly would contribute to faster progress towards achieving these goals.

Wishing success to each member of the Foundation for the Dissemination of Knowledge, who is working unhindered with the mission of educating generations that benefit the Motherland, the nation, the Ummah and all mankind, President Erdogan said: "As long as God gives us life and our people give us power, we will continue to be with you at all times. As long as you don't take your hands off the travelers of knowledge and wisdom. As long as you continue to work for the education of generations devoted to their people and their cause. As long as you sincerely strive for the younger generation of Asim, who says: "I exist" without looking either to the left or to the right. God willing, the rest is just a matter of time."

Referring to the words of Necip Fazyl Kysakyurek: "Don't worry, the owner of the case is God/Victory is confident in the correctness of the case," President Erdogan said: "Almighty Allah, the Lord of the Worlds, is the master of the cause of Ilaivortullah, the cause of establishing justice on earth, the cause of glorifying law and truth and the cause of reviving our civilization, to which we have the honor to devote our lives."

President Erdogan said: "As long as we keep our intentions pure and keep our sincerity, no one will be able to stop us. I pray that the Lord will not separate us from the straight path."

President Erdogan recalled that the Islamic world is preparing to meet another Ramadan, and that the first sahour will be held on Sunday night and the first fast will be observed.

Wishing that the blessed month of Ramadan would be favorable for the entire Islamic world and the Turkish people, President Erdogan said that they would try their best to realize this blessed month, the beginning of which is mercy, the middle of which is forgiveness, and the end is salvation from the torments of hell."ISRAEL IS PURSUING A POLICY OF GENOCIDE AGAINST OUR PALESTINIAN BROTHERS AND SISTERS"

President Erdogan said they welcome the month of Ramadan at a time when serious humanitarian tragedies are taking place in many parts of their central part of the country, especially in Gaza.

Stressing that what is happening in Gaza, especially after October 7, has exceeded the limits of tolerance, President Erdogan continued: "Israel, a terrorist state, is pursuing a policy of genocide against our Palestinian brothers and sisters with unlimited military and diplomatic support from Western powers. To date, more than 32,000 Palestinians have been martyred and 72,000 injured as a result of Israeli attacks aimed directly at civilians. Almost 2 million people were forced to leave their homes. Mosques, universities, schools and settlements have been destroyed."

Stating that we are faced with barbarism in which even innocent people standing in line for food are killed, President Erdogan continued: "Today we see vivid examples of the esfalisafil described in the Koran in the scoundrels who drop bombs on our brothers and sisters in Gaza. We have witnessed such scenes that a State with even a shred of humanity cannot do such things, even if it shows minimal respect for international law. Netanyahu and his hated administration have inscribed their names along with Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin, Polpot, Franco and other modern criminals as modern Nazis for their crimes against humanity in Gaza. We are doing and will do everything necessary to ensure that these murderers, who have already been convicted in the consciousness of mankind, are brought to justice before international law."

"UNFORTUNATELY, THE ISLAMIC WORLD HAS NOT BEEN ABLE TO FULLY FULFILL ITS DUTY OF BROTHERHOOD TO THE PALESTINIAN PEOPLE."

President Erdogan said that in the 155 days since October 7, they had faced many shameful incidents that tore their hearts apart, tore their hearts apart and made them blush humanly.

Stating that they have all seen and experienced for themselves how useless international institutions, human rights organizations and the media are when it comes to Israel, President Erdogan said: "We have all witnessed how the Universal Declaration of Human Rights has turned into just a piece of paper when it comes to the right to life of Palestinian children, women and innocent civilians. Again, this process has shown us that the Islamic world still has very important shortcomings, especially in terms of joint action, putting effective pressure on Israel and its supporters, and preventing oppression and mass murder. Unfortunately, the Islamic world, with a population of about 2 billion people, has not been able to fully fulfill its duty of brotherhood to the Palestinian people. Of course, a lot of efforts were made, a lot of diplomatic efforts, but it was not possible to prevent the starvation of innocent children in Gaza or death from bullets and bombs dropped on them."

Noting that there are undoubtedly many reasons for such a situation, President Erdogan said: "The United Nations Security Council and the structure of the global system excluding the Islamic world are just one of these reasons. In the current order, which was invented by the victors in World War II, Muslims are treated as stepchildren. At the same time, with the cry of "The world is bigger than five," Turkey also objects to this role imposed on us."

"WE HAVE USED OUR RECENTLY ESTABLISHED RELATIONSHIP WITH THE EGYPTIAN AUTHORITIES TO DELIVER AID TO GAZA,"

Saying that as a country and nation they have mobilized all means for the Palestinian people since the first day of Israel's attack on Gaza, President Erdogan said that they have raised the Palestinian issue and the situation of Gazans in all their meetings with foreign leaders, starting from October 7th.

Stating that they were the voice of Palestine and Gaza in all the international meetings they attended, President Erdogan said: "At a time when almost everyone in our country, including Israeli opponents, is competing to call Hamas a 'terrorist organization', we openly object to this. We boldly declared to the whole world that such slander cannot be thrown at the Palestinian Mujahideen, who defend their land, their dignity and their people. We have used our recently established relationship with the Egyptian authorities to deliver aid to Gaza."

Speaking about the aid sent from Turkey to the Gaza Strip, President Erdogan shared the following information: "The total volume of humanitarian aid that we have sent to the region so far by 19 aircraft and 7 civilian vessels with humanitarian aid has reached 40,000 tons. Another 3,000-ton humanitarian aid vessel belonging to our Red Crescent, which sailed the day before, will arrive in El Arish tomorrow. Every day, trucks belonging to the Red Crescent and non-governmental organizations transport humanitarian aid to Gaza through the Rafah border crossing. In addition to food, water, hygiene products, medicines and shelter supplies, these facilities include 53 ambulances, 551 generators, 8 field hospitals and 3,000 tents. I hope that during the Ramadan period we will further increase the volume of assistance. The treatment of our sick and wounded brothers and sisters, whom we brought to our country together with their comrades, continues."

Saying that they are making great efforts to ensure national unity and reconciliation among the Palestinians, President Erdogan recalled that this week they hosted Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in Ankara.

Noting that the Interior Minister and the head of the National Intelligence Organization (MIT) are in close dialogue with Hamas and other Palestinian groups, President Erdogan stressed that they are trying to help the Palestinians in all possible ways.

"TURKEY IS UNDOUBTEDLY A COUNTRY THAT SUPPORTS THE PALESTINIAN CAUSE AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL"

Noting that the Palestinians are the closest witnesses of Turkey's sincere struggle for the Palestinian cause, President Erdogan said: "We are at the forefront of countries that do not allow us to forget the massacre in Gaza. I would like to make this very clear. Turkey is undoubtedly a country that supports the Palestinian cause at the highest level with its State and nation. In this case, whoever criticizes our government by saying, "They did nothing," is openly insulting and encroaching on the rights of a servant. To pass such a sentence for whatever reason is, first of all, an insult to our beloved people. The whole world knows this fact very well; where Tayyip Erdogan stood 15 years ago when he shouted "one minute" in the face of murderers, he stands in the same place today. I urge those who have offended us on the issue to which we are most sensitive and to which we pay the most attention to ask themselves a question."

President Erdogan said that their position on the Palestinian issue and their struggle are clear.

"It must be borne in mind that those who criticize us, and very unfairly, consciously or unconsciously serve the interests of those who slander the Palestinian Mujahideen, calling them "terrorists," President Erdogan said, recalling his first trip to the United States as leader of the Justice and Development Party 21 years ago, when he He took office, and was not prime minister.

"When we sat down at the negotiating table with the leaders of the United States, they asked me about Hamas and called it a terrorist organization. I told them then: "No, Hamas is not a terrorist organization, on the contrary, it is a resistance organization." I was not prime minister at that time, I went to America as the leader of the party that won the election, and I gave them this answer. Let's not let anyone force us to use the term "terrorist organization" in relation to Hamas."

President Erdogan said: "Turkey is a country that speaks very openly and clearly with the leaders of Hamas and stands firmly behind them. As those who are committed to the cause of the Palestinians, instead of shooting arrows at each other, we must fight this pernicious mentality, not give it a foothold. Instead of ignoring Turkey's extraordinary efforts, we must expose the foul play of those who welcome the occupying Israel in every speech."

A short film about Turkey's efforts towards Palestine was shown in the hall.

Continuing his speech after the screening, President Erdogan stressed that they will do much more as they become stronger as a country.

"YOU ARE THE KEY TO OUR BRIGHT FUTURE"

Stressing that youth is the key to their bright future, that they will take up the banner of struggle, glorify it and pass it on to the next generation, President Erdogan noted that everything they do for youth and its future, and that they expect young people to grow up the most prepared, conscious, moral and confident to myself.

President Erdogan stated that he would like to share some of the advice of the late Ali Fuat Bashgil, who, in his opinion, would guide young people on their journey, and that Bashgil particularly emphasized two points, advising young people: "First, work, my young friend, work. It's worse to be in need than to die." Secondly, this is a warning: "He who spends his youth having fun, spends his old age in tears."

Referring to the advice of Ali Fuat Bashgil, who holds a special place in the hearts of the nation with his struggle and deeds, President Erdogan continued: "Look at what our teacher says; Every day and every hour, every place and every corner is available for work. Do not put off the work that you need to do on a certain day, the next day, whether it's a lesson or an assignment. If you want your attention and strength not to weaken, concentrate on one task, one book, one lesson at a certain time. Before you start work, think about and decide what you will do on it, make the necessary preparations. Devote yourself to work with all your spiritual and physical powers. If you are tired, change your job for a vacation. Never sit around with this excuse. Perseverance becomes a lake drop by drop. Drops falling on the same place taste even marble. Do not underestimate or neglect anything. Minor negligence can result in serious damage."

In his speech, President Erdogan also recalled Bashgil's advice to "read aloud five to ten pages from a good work every day" and said: "In this way, your ability to speak will improve. Memorize beautiful literary and philosophical works that you consider beautiful. Thus, both vocabulary is improved and memory is strengthened. Discuss and even discuss what you have learned with your friends to make your intelligence work. Be sure to learn how to speak and write well in your native language. Grammar is not a goal, but a means to enrich ideas. Don't choose a job when you're angry. Don't decide on something when you're angry.Whoever stands in anger sits down with loss. Talking behind your back is the most disgusting act. "This is a form of cowardice. Don't say things behind someone's back that you wouldn't say to their face."

Recalling Bashgil's words that "a liar is like a thief who lives in fear of being caught," President Erdogan said: "Don't lie. An insidious person has no friends, be generous. A person with good morals is wonderful at any age. Don't be proud of your successes. Pride is the enemy of future achievements. If in doubt, choose a person whose opinion you ask well. A false idea brings a lifetime of regrets, and the right one brings a lifetime of light. Yes, these are just some of the things that flowed from the source of wisdom of our teacher Ali Fuat Bashgil. On this occasion, I once again remember our teacher with mercy and gratitude."

President Erdogan concluded his speech by wishing the 53rd regular General Assembly of the Foundation to be fruitful.
