Turkmenistan continues dialogue on the prospects of partnership with the EU
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Mahri Bashimova met with Deputy Head of the EU Foreign Policy Service in Europe Luc Pierre Devin and discussed the prospects for a comprehensive partnership between Turkmenistan and the EU.
Turkmenistan is carefully considering the possibility of a comprehensive partnership with the EU. These prospects were discussed at a meeting in Ashgabat between Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Mahri Bashimova and Vice President of the European Foreign Policy Service (EEAS) By Luc Pierre Devin.
TURKMENISTAN AND THE EU PAY SPECIAL ATTENTION TO THE TRANSPORT SECTOR
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to the implementation of EU projects and programs, the organization of bilateral visits and events, as well as the holding of the next ministerial meeting in the EU-Central Asia format.
Special attention was paid to the activities of the Erasmus+ program and cooperation in the field of transport, including the holding of an investor forum in Brussels, the capital of Belgium, on January 29-30, 2024.
Cooperation between Turkmenistan and the EU has expanded significantly in recent years, opening up new prospects for both partners.
