Turkmenistan celebrates the 100th anniversary of the birth of Heydar Aliyev

The 100th anniversary of the birth of Azerbaijan's national leader Heydar Aliyev was marked by a concert in Turkmenistan.

The concert of Heydar Aliyev, the Brotherhood of Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan was held at the Mukam Palace in Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan.

The concert was attended by Azerbaijani Ambassador to Ashgabat Gysmet Gezalov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Batyr Atdayev, representatives of diplomatic missions and international organizations in the country, as well as guests.

Before the concert, the guests visited a photo exhibition in the lobby of the Mukam Palace.

Ambassador Gezalov, who spoke at the concert, noted that 2023 was declared the "Year of Heydar Aliyev" in Azerbaijan on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of the founder of Azerbaijan, Heydar Aliyev.

Expressing that friendship and brotherhood between peoples having a common language and culture have historical roots, Gezalov noted that commitment to common values further strengthens mutually beneficial relations between the governments of Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan.

At the concert, Azerbaijani artists performed on a container, a unique type of instrument for Azerbaijan, and other instruments, arranging a musical celebration for the guests.

Gezalov said that it is a pleasure to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the birth of Heydar Aliyev in fraternal Turkmenistan.
