TRNC Ustel Prime Minister: Turkey has always supported Turkish Cypriots
Prime Minister of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Unal Ustel stated that Turkish Cypriots are happy with Turkey's support, and said, "The Turkish Republic has always supported Turkish Cypriots everywhere."
Vice President Cevdet Yilmaz, who arrived in Nicosia to attend the 40th anniversary ceremony of the TRNC, was met by Prime Minister Ustel at Ercan Airport.
After the greeting, Yilmaz and Ustel made statements to reporters at the Ercan Airport Hall of Fame.
Justel stated that the Turkish Cypriots had crowned their struggle for existence, which they continued with the support of the Turkish homeland, with the creation of a republic.
Ustel thanked Yilmaz and his accompanying delegation who came to Nicosia to participate in the ceremony of the 40th anniversary of the creation of the TRNC, and said that Turkey, which supports Turkish Cypriots in good and bad times, sorrows and joys, expressed its support for unconditional love based on sincerity, respect and trust.
Ustel also said: "The Turkish Republic has always supported Turkish Cypriots all over the world. We asked for security, and Turkey supported us. If we live here in peace and tranquility today, it is thanks to the Cyprus peace operation conducted by Turkey in 1974. We want political support, Turkey is with us. We want investment support, Turkey is investing. We have embarked on a new path to embrace the world, and Turkey is with us again."
TRNC Prime Minister Ustel said they would lead the TRNC to the place it deserves as a united heart with Turkey.
Ustel thanked the Turkish state, authorities and people for supporting the TRNC, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary.
