Finally, the "Long-term Improvement" stage addresses issues such as the use of artificial intelligence in tourism, the use of blockchain technology and big data analytics for strategic decision-making. This stage is a phase of continuous improvement and development of digitalization.

This flow chart shows how digital transformation in tourism can be implemented and what stages it consists of. Each stage and subcategory provides a common understanding of how digital transformation in tourism can be implemented.

Big data analytics is one of the main stones of digitalization in the tourism sector. Travel companies can develop more effective marketing strategies and offer personalized services by analyzing customer behavior and preferences. For example, data on previous travel, hotel bookings, and customer social media interactions enable businesses to offer customized suggestions and recommendations to customers, which increases customer satisfaction and loyalty. Indeed, the impact of big data analytics on customer relationship management in tourism is widely recognized (Kagermann et al., 2013).

The Internet of Things (IoT) is another important digitalization trend in the travel industry. Thanks to IoT devices, smart hotel rooms can provide personalized services to customers. For example, the devices in the hotel room, such as lighting, air conditioning and TV, can be automatically configured according to the customer's preferences. These technologies help not only to improve the customer experience, but also to increase energy efficiency (Buhalis and Amaranggana, 2015).

Artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning are other key components of digitalization in tourism. Chatbots and virtual assistants based on artificial intelligence allow you to quickly and effectively answer customer questions, revolutionizing customer service. In addition, machine learning algorithms can analyze customer data and predict their future behavior, helping companies make strategic decisions. This contributes to improving the quality of customer service and more efficient management of operational processes (Gretzel et al., 2015).

Blockchain technology is a revolutionary achievement in the field of security and transparency in the tourism industry. Thanks to blockchain, payment processes become more secure and fraud risks are reduced. In addition, transactions such as travel insurance and reservations are becoming more reliable thanks to blockchain technology. This significantly increases the level of trust and customer satisfaction in the industry (Tapscott and Tapscott, 2016).

The future of the tourism experience highlights the importance of digital elements in this graphic, which demonstrates the various stages of digitalization in the tourism sector and the technologies used in these stages. In this graph, the travel experience is considered in six main stages, for each of which digital solutions and innovative technologies are presented. With this in mind, I'll tell you about the table.

The first stage, the beginning of awareness of the need, begins with tourists determining their travel needs. At this stage, big data, emotional and behavioral analyses, artificial intelligence and wearable technologies come into play, offering personalized content and recommendations. Dynamic online content and virtual reality/augmented reality facilitate tourists' decision-making and direction. Feedback and feedback also play an important role at this stage.

At the Booking and Payment stage, digital payment systems are used with automatic verification of the user's profile and risk assessment. Automatic deductions from hotel plans make booking accommodation and events safer and more efficient for tourists.

During the Preparation phase, the use of technologies such as automatically prepared travel lists and timely receipt of important information, as well as virtual reality/augmented reality technologies for car rental and dynamic departure time notification, facilitate and optimize travel preparation.

Travel is another important aspect of digitalization in the travel industry. Automated border controls, electronic concierge services and systems that facilitate daily activities make the travel experience more comfortable. Solutions such as smart work and entertainment applications, interactive walls and access to hotel services provide tourists with comfort during their stay.

At the event stage, planning with digital tickets and smart cruise systems increases tourist participation in local events. Smart interactive maps and instant online support allow tourists to access information and receive assistance at any time during their trip.
