The year 2024 in Turkmenistan has been declared the year of "The Storehouse of the mind of Makhtumkuli Fragi"

The Parliament of Turkmenistan has decided to hold events this year in the country under the slogan "The Storehouse of the Mind of Makhtumkuli Fragi"

A slogan has been announced, which is determined at the beginning of each year in Turkmenistan and is adopted as the main theme of the events.

At the suggestion of non-governmental organizations, it was decided to use the title of the poem "The Storehouse of Reason by Makhtumkuli Fragi", written by the national leader of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, as a motto in this year's events.

The decision was adopted by the Parliament of Turkmenistan in honor of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great poet and thinker of the Turkic world Makhtumkuli Fraga and approved by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

In accordance with this decision, it aims to honor the memory of Makhtumkuli Fraga at every event in 2024, popularize his literary legacy worldwide and increase scientific research.

As part of the year "The Storehouse of the Mind of Makhtumkuli Fragi", exhibitions dedicated to the life and work of the poet are held throughout Turkmenistan.

The poet, who was one of the masters of the word of the 18th century, wrote more than 700 poems and created the Turkmen literary language.

The poet, who defended the unity and independence of the Turkmen in his works, fought with his pen in the war against evil, touched upon national and spiritual issues.
