According to a statement from the Council of Higher Education of Turkey (YÖK), the admission results for the Turkey-Azerbaijan University, which was inaugurated in Baku, have been announced. In the first year, the university will admit 30 students each in the Computer Engineering and Industrial Engineering programs, and 27 students in the Food Engineering program. The university will begin its academic activities in the 2024-2025 academic year.

In Azerbaijan, where the maximum score on entrance exams is 700, the highest score for admission to the Computer Engineering program at Turkey-Azerbaijan University was 684.9, and the lowest was 641.6. For the Industrial Engineering program, the highest score was 663.7 and the lowest was 544.4. In the Food Engineering program, the highest score was 632.8, with a minimum score of 452.1.

The Turkey-Azerbaijan University will serve as an "umbrella university" incorporating programs from leading Turkish universities. Instead of introducing new programs, the university will integrate existing and well-established educational programs. In the 2024-2025 academic year, the Turkey-Azerbaijan University will offer educational programs in Computer Engineering based on the Middle East Technical University (METU) curriculum, in Industrial Engineering based on the Istanbul Technical University (ITU) curriculum, and in Food Engineering based on the Hacettepe University curriculum. Students who successfully complete these programs at Turkey-Azerbaijan University will receive diplomas from the respective universities.
