The Secretary General spoke at the meeting of the "round table" of ICT ministers in Astana
The Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States, Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev, sent a video message to the round table of ICT ministers on the topic "Digital cooperation and digital Society", held within the framework of the International Forum "Digital Bridge 2023", in Astana.
The meeting, organized on the initiative of the Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mr. Bagdat Musin, was attended by ministers and high-ranking representatives of many countries and international/regional organizations.
In his video message, the Secretary General noted that the bilateral investment agreement is one of the most important areas of cooperation within the framework of the OTG and that the Organization has unique opportunities to facilitate interaction between Member States.
Ambassador Omuraliev added that the TDT Secretariat plays a coordinating role, supporting and assisting IT companies in the Turkish region in creating a close network and cooperation between relevant stakeholders, including technoparks and technology/innovation centers.
In this regard, the Secretary General stressed Kazakhstan's contribution to the development and deepening of cooperation in the field of ICT in the OTG region by initiating and implementing important initiatives and projects.
