The III Kazan World Youth Summit has started in Tatarstan

The III Kazan Global Youth Summit has started in Kazan, the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation.

The summit, which started at the Kazan City Hall and was organized by the Government of Tatarstan and the Youth Forum of Islamic Cooperation (IFIC), was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan Leila Fazleeva, Deputy Mayor of Kazan Evgenia Evgenia Lobvigova, Chairman of the Council of Young Diplomats of the Russian Foreign Ministry Konstantin Kolpakov.

The speakers at the summit were President of the IFIC Taha Ayhan, Director General of the Research Center for Islamic History, Art and Culture of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Professor Dr. Mahmut Erol Kilic and Deputy Secretary General of the OIC for Humanitarian, Cultural and Social Affairs Tarig Ali Bakhit.

The summit was attended by delegations from about 40 countries, including representatives of international organizations involved in youth policy, opinion leaders, young entrepreneurs and leading names in the world of science.

Speaking at the summit, Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan Fazleeva said that various projects for youth are being implemented in Tatarstan, and said: "Youth plays an important role in the development of the country. For this reason, we came together at the summit to get information about the activities of various countries for young people.

" "We must show solidarity with the Palestinian youth"

In his speech at the summit, IFIC President Ayhan noted the importance of the summit and said: "This event is becoming a key policy element for young people who set the agenda for the coming years. I think that such events will shape the foreign policy of the countries in the future."

Ayhan stated that the IFIC attaches great importance to the education of young people and solving their current problems.

Referring to the situation in the Gaza Strip, Ayhan said: "Genocide and ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian people continue. The population of Gaza is being deliberately destroyed. This is a violation of international humanitarian law. The scale of this tragedy is staggering. The silence of the world on this issue is unacceptable."

Stating that necessary steps must be taken for youth in Palestine, Ayhan said, "Palestinian youth are living in a nightmare. We must stand in solidarity with them. We must make their voices heard, protect their rights on international platforms and ensure that justice prevails."

Stressing that the IFIC is trying to raise this issue in international organizations, especially the United Nations (UN), Ayhan stressed that the Palestinian issue must be resolved.

The Director General of the Research Center for Islamic History, Art and Culture Kilic noted that such events promote interaction between young people.

Stating that digitalization plays an important role in the development of society, Kilic said: "Young people should receive education in all areas using digital and non-digital tools."
