Sivil Diplomasi/ VEDAT KURT / part of the celebration of the 33rd anniversary of Kyrgyzstan's independence, the flag was raised on Ala-Too Square in the capital Bishkek.

The ceremony, which was attended by Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov, was attended by members of the Cabinet of Ministers, deputies, members of the judiciary, representatives of the cultural and sports community, religious figures, heads of foreign missions and guests.

Zhaparov greeted the servicemen of the Armed Forces of Kyrgyzstan, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Emergency Situations at the opening of the flag-raising ceremony on Ala-Too Square.

Speaking after raising the flag, Zhaparov congratulated the people on Independence Day and said: "Our sovereignty should never be threatened. May Kyrgyzstan reach new heights and may our red flag always fly proudly.

" "Our sacred duty is to continue the work of our ancestors"

President Zhaparov noted that Independence Day is celebrated in order to recognize the value of freedom and independent development, preserve them and pass them on to future generations with dignity.

"We bow to the heroism of our ancestors who fought for an independent and prosperous Kyrgyzstan, and respectfully honor their memory. It is our sacred duty to continue the work of our ancestors. As a sign of this mission, today we are hoisting our flag 100 meters high on the main square of our capital, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the formation of the Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous Region."

Zhaparov said that blind copying of foreign cultures leads to distortion of sacred beliefs and weakens his country, rejecting the confusing statements of some people who ran for elections, forming a political party that Kyrgyzstan has become an authoritarian state.

Zhaparov said that there is a growing demand for security in developed democratic countries, adding that hierarchical (vertical) governance should be strong and strict, and leaders should be fair and accountable to their homeland.

Stressing that a sovereign state should be able to ensure the stability and security of its citizens above all, Zhaparov said: "Attaching importance to national interests is not authoritarianism. This is the foundation of our independent state, which we are strengthening today. That is why ensuring comprehensive security is our top priority. We attach great importance to this."

"Fiscal policy in the country is under control"

Zhaparov called the nationalization of the Kumtor gold mine, operated by Canadians in the country, "historical justice" and said: "Fiscal policy in the country has been brought under control, the tax and customs systems that form the basis of the state budget have been streamlined."

Zhaparov also thanked the parliament for supporting the government's decisions and noted that Kyrgyzstan, as a sovereign state, has reached a level where it can enter into equal, mutually beneficial relations with other developed countries.

"The opening ceremony of the new Presidential Administration building, which was built on the initiative of Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov, took place."

The construction of the Presidential Administration building, the foundation of which was laid on April 16, 2023, in the south of the capital Bishkek, has been completed.

Violinist Daniel Lozakovich took the stage at the opening ceremony, which was attended by government officials and many guests.

President Zhaparov named the administrative building "Yntymak Ordo" (Unity Palace).

The opening of the administrative building was timed to coincide with the Independence Day of Kyrgyzstan on August 31 and the 100th anniversary of the formation of the Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous Republic.

Speaking at the opening, Zhaparov said: "This building is not just an administrative building, it is proof of our determination, our desire for unity and our desire for development."

Zhaparov said that the word "Yntymak" means peace, friendship and unity, and "Ordo" means a place or center where strategically important decisions are made and implemented that determine the future of the country.

Thanking those who contributed to the construction and coordination of the project, which lasted more than a year, Zhaparov added that he believes that the new building of the presidential administration will become a symbol of respect for Kyrgyzstan, national pride and sovereignty.
