Iranian President: "Israel and the United States will pay a high price for their crimes that they have committed"

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has lashed out at Israel and the United States for their attacks on the Gaza Strip, saying they "will pay a high price for their crimes."

According to Iran's official IRNA news agency, Raisi spoke at a commemorative ceremony held in the capital Tehran on the occasion of the 4th anniversary of the assassination of Qassem Suleimani, commander of the Quds forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Army, as a result of the US attack in Baghdad in January 2020.

In his speech, Raisi recalled the terrorist attack that took place in Kerman and continued as follows:

"You wanted to scare people with your criminal act against the flow of people who are moving to the grave of martyr Suleimani today. You were unable to use your power against the resistance forces, now you are using it against innocent people, but know that you will pay a high price for this crime."

Raisi noted that Israel's genocidal attacks in Gaza and the murder of Suleimani by the United States were serious crimes.

"I warn the United States and the Zionist regime (Israel), which plays a direct role in all the crimes taking place in Palestine and Gaza. There is no doubt that you will pay a bitter price for this crime and the other crimes you have committed."
