Export of Turkish organized industry to Uzbekistan
Turkish Organized Industry exports to Uzbekistan: Orhan Aydin, president of the OSTIM Organized Industrial Zone, said that they have been hosting many foreign businessmen for a long time and say that they have transferred their experience to developing countries. Explaining that they are trying to extend this project to all geographical regions up to Africa, which wants to benefit from the experience of Turkey's Organized Industrial Zone, Aydin stated that Turkish-Islamic geography also needed information about the Organized Industrial Zone over the past 2 years.
Mr. Aydin noted that the OPP to be established in Uzbekistan is an important example of this. Aydin stated that Uzbekistan had allocated them the territory of an Organized Industrial Zone, and said: "We will implement it. At the moment, we have been allocated land. An area of 100 hectares has been determined in Tashkent."
Stating that the region will be known as the "Uzbek-Turkish Industrial Zone," Aydin said, "We will open our office there in the coming months."
The project will be mixed
Stating that the industrial zone will be of a "mixed" nature, Aydin explained that they will create infrastructure for investors in Uzbekistan, and that the region will become a hub for investors from Turkey. Explaining that there is a demand for the project in other cities of Uzbekistan, Aydin said: "I hope that we will distribute this project there as well."
Noting that there are companies from Turkey that want to come to the region for investment purposes, Aydin said that Uzbeks, like them, approach this issue positively. Stating that they aim to popularize the project in other countries of the region except Uzbekistan, Aydin stated that they will begin activities to promote the region within 3 months. Aydin also said: "By the end of the year we will see a lot of buildings there. Some companies may start production."
