Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Uzbekistan Anvar Karimov and his accompanying delegation arrived in Turkey and held talks on the model of the agricultural insurance system.

According to the statement made by the Agricultural Insurance Pool (TARSIM), the delegation of Uzbekistan, who arrived in Turkey to discuss the creation of a model of the Turkish agricultural insurance system in Uzbekistan and issues of cooperation, made speeches yesterday by Abdullah Keskin, Deputy Director General of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry for Agricultural Reform, Kamil Ozdemir, Head of the Department of Agricultural Insurance and Natural Disasters and a member of the Board of TARSIM, TARSIM Board Member and General Director for the Operation of the Agricultural insurance pool Bekir In Istanbul Engyuryulu met with Deputy General Director Tufan Ozel and his accompanying delegation.
According to the statement of the Department of Agricultural Insurance (TARSIM), the delegation of Uzbekistan, who arrived in Turkey to create a model of the Turkish agricultural insurance system in Uzbekistan and discuss cooperation issues, Abdulla Keskin, Deputy Director General for Agrarian Reform of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Kamil Ozdemir, Head of the Department of Agricultural Insurance and Natural Disasters, member of the Board of Directors of TARSIM Bekir Engyuryulyu, In Istanbul, he met with Deputy Director General Tufan Ozel and his accompanying delegation.
According to the statement of the Agricultural insurance Division (TARSIM), the Turkish model of the agricultural insurance system can be created in Uzbekistan, and the delegation of Uzbekistan, who is in Turkey to discuss cooperation issues, met yesterday with Deputy Director General for Agrarian Reform of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry Abdullah Keskin, Head of the Department of Agricultural Insurance and Natural Disasters and member of the Board of Directors of TARSIM Kamil Ozdemir, Head of the Department of Agriculture and Natural Disasters Bekir Engyurulyu, and with Deputy Director General Tufan Ozel and his accompanying delegation in Istanbul.
In September last year, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Ibrahim Yumakli and Minister of Agriculture of Uzbekistan Aziz Voitov signed a statement of intent to exchange experience of the Turkish Agricultural Insurance System (TARSIM) to create a similar system in Uzbekistan. Within the framework of this statement, a meeting was held in the General Directorate of TARSIM, where a member of the Board and General Director of the Agricultural Insurance Fund Engyuryulu expressed satisfaction with the opportunity to assist in the establishment of the TARSIM system, which has become a model for the international community, and in Uzbekistan. Engyuryulu also shared many years of experience in the field of state-supported agricultural insurance systems with the participants of the Uzbek delegation.
Engyurulu stressed that support for the establishment of an agricultural insurance system will continue in Uzbekistan, as well as in the fraternal country of Azerbaijan, where this system was also installed. He also informed the participants about the increasingly important agricultural insurance practices for the world due to the negative impacts of climate change on agricultural activities in recent years.
The statement said that within the framework of the visit program of the Uzbek delegation, informational meetings are planned on issues of state-supported insurance sectors of agriculture, their application and provision.
